Storm the Mechanical Horse- Great for your first riding experience or first canter!

Aailable for hire and lessons

The horse will be used for both advanced and inexperienced riders. Although the simulator is a huge investment costing over £52,000 we feel it will be of great benefit as a training aid for our riders. We hope many of our disabled riders will also enjoy using the new and exciting addition to the riding centre. Sessions will be available to book. Clubs and group bookings welcome.

Dressage Simulator

The Dressage Simulator accommodates riders of all levels from beginners to the advanced. This horse allows you to practise advanced dressage movements, such as: Piaffe, Passage and Half Pass and can also be used for basic arena work.

The fully interactive Dressage Simulator offers a revolutionary way to focus on skills and balance by viewing immediate visual feedback on seat position and riding movements. It is used worldwide by professionals and amateur riders as an essential aid to training.

Virtual Riding Experience
Horse riding is widely recognised as beneficial to both physical and mental well-being and valuable form of exercise and therapy. For many with disabilities, riding offers physical therapy that they simply cannot achieve elsewhere. The simulator can carry riders of up to 16 stone and can be used all day long, whatever the season and whatever the weather. A simulator can allow all riders to enjoy horse riding in a safe and controlled environment.

The  Simulator walks, trots and canters, offering the same life-like action of a horse that our other simulators produce. Based on the countryside challenge, riders now get the opportunity to explore over 4,000 acres of land, that ranges from a stroll through a village, to a hack through the woods and even a run on the beach. Along the way we've placed milestones and interactive features that allow the rider to engage even more with the environment e.g. posting a letter, collecting eggs, visit the farmyard. The software keeps track of how far each rider has travelled, the locations they have visted and the things they have seen on their ride and has the option to provide a printed certificate.

We now have a racing simulator aswell!!!

As used by the professionals this is one of Racewood's most popular simulators – the ideal yet affordable fitness tool for aspiring and professional jockeys alike.

Racewood's unique, patented system ensures that the head, body and padded leather neck all move in perfect synchronisation which simulates perfectly the smooth flowing ride of a galloping horse.

The RS simulator is perfect for:

  • - Developing technique
  • Improving fitness
  • Balance
  • "This really is the essential tool for anyone wanting to ride in races. It is the only way to work on technique and fitness in a controlled environment while simulating the real experience of being on a horse."
