My name is Barlow !!!!!!!
I am Silvers baby boy and I was born on Wednesday 21.4.2010.
Please feel free to have a look at me as I am very adorable, but can you be very quiet and remember I am young and like my stable to be peaceful so I can sleep.
Also my mummy can get a bit grumpy and protective over me so if she is putting her ears back please leave us to rest.

We are currently running training towards a ABRS Initial Teaching Award, the training is on going every other week on Monday evenings. Please ring the stables for further information.

Birthday Parties
Pony Parties – with up to 10 (children (or Adults!)
Learn to ride and play games on the ponies
Rosettes for all the party children
£14.00 per pony per hour. (Over six riders)
£10.00 per pony per 1/2 hour (Over six riders)
Under six riders will be charged at special group rates
£12 per pony per 1/2 hour (for 5 children)
£14 per pony per 1/2 hour (for 4 children)
£19 per pony per hour (for 4 or 5 children).
Each rider is asked to fill in a Client Registration Form prior to the party, which can be downloaded from the website.
Beginner children will need leaders, please bring sufficient adults who are willing to assist, they will need to wear appropriate footwear [high heels and flip flops are not ideal !] We may be able to supply some leaders from the stables if you are having difficulty. We are able to supply more instructors to help at an additional cost.
We also have a Function room available for hire

From Saturday 24th July we are open every Saturday on a book and pay weekly system until the term starts again on Saturday 4th September.
From Sunday 25th July we are CLOSED all Sundays over the holidays until the start of term.

10:00 – 11:00 F.P.Y.R.C and Helpers Training. If you are wishing to become a helper you must join the club and attend this session, existing helpers can also attend as a refresher session. £15 per year for membership.

10:00 – 11:00 1 Hour Group Hack. This hack will include a canter (check with your instructor if you are unsure). £17.50
11:00 ABRS Test £18
1:00 – 2:00 1st Timers Jumping Lesson £17.50
2:00 – 3:00 Advanced Jumping Competiton. £20. Compete against other riders to see who can do a clear round, everyone gets through to novice class and then it gets fun. Who ever clears the novice round with 0 faults goes through to the jump off, you then have to jump against the clock to get your finishing position. Rosettes to all entries. (Time will vary depending on number of entries)

The final day of Intermediate Camp will include show day so please check you have everything on you kit list shirt tie. Parents are invited to watch from 1pm onwards and for prize giving at 3:00pm.

10:15 – 3:00 Pony Day £30 Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a packed lunch (sun cream if hot)

MINI CAMP !! Start at 10.15am and the day will include a mini show; parents are invited to watch the show from 1:30 onwards finishing at 3.30pm with prize giving.

10:00 – 12:00 FPYRC Activity. Dressage test £15 learn and ride a dressage test.
1:00-2:00 Handy Pony Competition £4 per round
Children can come along and take part in an obstacle course with their pony designed for lots of fun.
Everyone gets a rosette!!! You can do as many rounds as you like. Please bring a leader if you need help.

Come along every day at the same time Monday to Friday for a special week long course of lessons.

11:00 – 1:00 Mini Picnic Ride. £20 This is for children from total beginners to just cantering level. A gentle walk and trot into the village and heading back to Big Top, where we will tie the ponies up and have a sit down picnic in the field. Please provide a packed lunch. Parents are asked to come along on foot. (This ride may change if the weather is unsuitable, please check on the morning of the ride)

10:00 – 2:00 PICNIC RIDE £45 (full payment must be paid on booking)
A 3-4 hour ride over to Sicklinghall where we stop for a short lunch then a good gallop back on the all weather gallop track. A fun fast hack so please check with your instructor first before booking. (You will need to provide a packed lunch).
Open for private and semi private lessons
Wednesday 25th August
10:15 – 3:00 Advanced Pony Day £30 Maximum of 10 children.
This is for children who regularly canter and jump in their lessons, they will be asked to design and jump a Show Jumping course along with more in-depth stable management. Please provide a packed lunch.
Thursday 26th August
10:15am – 12:30pm Pony Morning. £18. This pony morning is aimed at the tiny tots from 4 years, to come and experience a morning of brushing the ponies, learning what they eat and having a ride in the arena .
Under 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian. Please bring a drink and snack.
2:00 – 3:00 Parent and Child Ride. £25. (Payment needed when booking)
Come along and join your child in an hours riding lesson full of fun, no matter if you are a complete beginner or experienced you and your child will have lots of fun. The ride may even go for a walk down the bridle path.

Last summer show before we start back on term ! Come along, book your horse/pony for the day, compete in dressage, tack and turn out, Show Jumping or Handy pony !. A fun day to be had. FPYRC Members can book their pony/horse NOW !!!!

A ride to Spofforth to the Castle Pub for a quick drink and snack to eat and a fun, fast ride back 2 Hours approx. Please bring money for a drink.
